MEET OUR FOUNDER
Pixie Lights was created by Leanne Stapleton—a lifelong crafter with a love for the built environment regeneration and a spoonie with a love of folklore, animals, and sensory healing.
Raised among the wild beauty of Cornwall, now based in Derby city centre, Leanne’s story is shaped by both creativity and insight into how our environments affect our wellbeing. Her career has spanned roles in telecoms and technology, real estate, and social housing, deepening her belief that our homes aren't just places to live—they're sanctuaries that shape how we feel, heal, and connect. When your home is not your castle things can get over whelming fast.

With a background in urban planning and an understanding of sustainability, Leanne understands the subtle ways that physical space, emotional wellness, and sensory rituals intertwine. Living with rheumatoid arthritis, Hashimoto’s disease, osteoarthritis, and fibromyalgia, she’s learned first hand the power of rest, energy and and intentional self-care.
Pixie Lights grew from her own healing journey through chronic illness and burnout—now shared lovingly with those seeking their own flicker of calm.
