Pixie Lights was created by Leanne Stapleton—a lifelong crafter, urban regeneration advocate, and proud spoonie with a deep love for folklore, animals, and sensory healing.

Raised among the wild beauty of Cornwall and now based in Derby city centre, Leanne’s journey is shaped by creativity and a profound understanding of how our environments influence emotional wellbeing. Her career in telecoms, real estate, and social housing revealed a truth she carries into every candle: our homes aren’t just places to live—they’re sanctuaries that shape how we feel, heal, and connect. When your home isn’t your castle, life can feel overwhelming fast.

With a background in urban planning and a passion for sustainability, Leanne understands the subtle ways physical space, emotional wellness, and sensory rituals intertwine. Living with rheumatoid arthritis, Hashimoto’s disease, osteoarthritis, and fibromyalgia, she’s learned firsthand the power of rest, energy, and intentional self-care.

Pixie Lights was born from her own healing journey through chronic illness and burnout—now shared lovingly with those seeking their own flicker of calm.
